Operation & navigation

How the portal is structured, which modules are available and how you can navigate it quickly – explained in a compact format.

THE TWO MODULES

Search and billing & reports

The Merchant Online Portal has two main modules. Which one you see depends on your authorization – some users have access to one, others to both.

Search

Here you can research authorizations, transactions, collectors, balances, payments, chargebacks and – if activated – interchange data.

Here you will find your statements, reports and documents from the last 180 days – each available for download as a PDF or CSV.

You can switch between the modules using the top navigation bar or the large boxes on the start page. The active module is highlighted in color.

GENERAL OPERATION

What you should know across the board

Language

German and English are available. You can make your selection via the drop-down menu at the top right before logging in. The language cannot be changed after logging in.

Data availability

You can access data from the last 180 days. In authorizations, transactions and payments, the search is also limited to a maximum of 31 days at a time.

Tooltips

If you move the mouse pointer over the small question mark symbol, quick info on the respective field appears. This is helpful if you are not sure what a term means.

Calendar

You will find a calendar symbol next to each date field. Underlined days show the days on which data is available. Click on the day and the date will be adopted.

Data status

At the top right of each screen you can see when the data was last updated. Authorizations are updated five times a day, all other areas once a day.

Hit limit

A search results list shows a maximum of 3000 hits. More is not possible – if you need more, narrow the search or make two queries.

SEVERAL LOCATIONS

Select and change business partners

If you have access to several business partners – for example in a branch operation or holding structure – you must first select which one you want to work with after logging in.

You can find the business partner number (merchant ID) on your statements. Enter it in the field and confirm with Suchen. The respective search mask with the partner’s master data will then open in the header area.

Business partner no. not at hand?

Click on the link Sie kennen Ihre Händler-ID nicht? and search for company name, address, city or country. Search tip: You can enter partial details – the system searches “like”.

Change during the session

You can use the Geschäftspartner wechseln button in the header to switch to a different retailer ID at any time without having to log in again.

Note Hierarchy: If you have access to a business hierarchy with several branches, an additional option appears in the search masks. Select Ja to search the entire hierarchy or Nein to limit the search to the selected partner.

CUSTOMIZE SEARCH RESULTS

Columns, sorting, detailed view

Main columns / All columns

Use the table icon to switch between a compact standard view and the full column view.

Configure columns

In the main view, you can individually select which columns are displayed. Click on Spalten konfigurieren to open the selection. Confirm with Speichern und Zurück.

Sorting

Column headings that are underlined can be clicked and sorted in ascending or descending order. The tooltip shows you the next sorting direction.

Detailed view

Use the button Details to see all available fields for an individual transaction at a glance – even those that are hidden in the table view.

Drill-Down / Drill-Up

Underlined content in a column is clickable and takes you deeper into the data – for example, from a transaction to the associated statement. Tooltip shows in advance where the jump leads.

Scroll

10 data records are displayed per page. Use the drop-down menu and the arrows in the footer to scroll through larger lists of results.

PROCESS DATA FURTHER

Export search results as CSV

Each search results list can be exported to Excel or another spreadsheet program. This is how you proceed:

Click on the MS Excel symbol in the results list.
As soon as the file is created, a message appears. Click on Download.
Choose Öffnen, Speichern or Abbrechen.

Practical tip: When opening a CSV file in Excel, amounts can be interpreted incorrectly if the separator is not correct. Use the comma as a decimal separator when importing – otherwise, for example, 15,99 will become 1.599,00.
