The new partnership is based on this conviction: SwiPay and Hanseatic POS are now working together to fundamentally improve payment processes in the Swiss hospitality and beauty industry – in a practical, budget-conscious manner and from a single source. The cooperation is complemented by WF Beratung, which provides the necessary industry network and direct market access.
Integrated payment and POS solutions for two demanding industries
The cooperation is designed for the long term and is initially clearly focused on the Swiss market – with the aim of successively expanding it throughout the DACH region. The focus is on an integrated range of solutions that covers all relevant payment channels: from traditional POS to Smart POS and Soft POS through to modern self-commerce solutions in e-commerce. This provides businesses with an end-to-end payment architecture that brings together their operational and commercial requirements in a single, coherent system.

First joint project: MELIN Thai Street Food in Basel
The first joint customer project is already being implemented: MELIN Thai Street Food in Basel will rely on the combined solution of the three partners in future. The aim is to streamline payment processes, make operational processes more efficient and at the same time create a modern experience for guests.

SwiPay AG, based in Switzerland with representative offices in Germany and Austria, is an independent payment network. Founded in September 2022, SwiPay provides consulting and brokerage services in the D-A-CH region for all aspects of payment services and the associated hardware and software – from card acceptance at the point of sale to e-commerce gateways. SwiPay supports merchants and acceptance points in setting up and optimizing their payment processes without itself providing payment services as defined by the applicable financial market regulations.
