IP65, IK08 and ATEX – built for the toughest conditions

Fully dust-tight and protected against water jets (IP65), impact-resistant to IK08, ATEX-certified for potentially explosive areas such as petrol stations. UV-resistant materials that do not fade even after five years of exposure to sunlight. The UN20 is not optimized for indoor use – it is built for everything else.

Operation from -20 °C to +70 °C

Swiss winter, hot summer or direct sunlight – the UN20 operates in a temperature range that would exclude most other terminals. Storage temperature even from -30 °C to +80 °C. Relative humidity from 10 % to 95 % – non-condensing.

5-inch HD touchscreen, even when wearing gloves

1280 × 720 pixels, highly sensitive capacitive multi-touch screen. Works reliably even at low temperatures and can be easily operated with gloves – crucial for outdoor locations and industrial environments.

All payment methods, all interfaces

Chip, magnetic stripe, NFC, QR code – the UN20 accepts all common payment methods. MDB Master & Executive, MDB Slave, RS232, Digital I/O, USB, LAN, HDMI: the variety of interfaces enables integration into practically any vending machine system – from vending to parking to petrol.

Remote maintenance and intelligent sensors

Proximity sensor automatically recognizes user and wakes the terminal without physical contact. Light sensor adjusts the display brightness. Software updates, monitoring and fault diagnosis run remotely via the PayTec Terminal Management System – no on-site technician intervention required. The terminal remains in idle mode until it is needed, thus actively saving energy.
